Position Title:  Shift Supervisor

Report To:  MOD

Hours:  Approximately 5 days per week 8 hours a day, including nights, weekends, and holidays.


Assists the Management team in the front of house operations (cashier, cafe and prep areas) of Badlands while maintaining outstanding service, product quality, cleanliness and organization.


  • Hands-on, high volume setting
  • Non-smoking
  • Work area includes food, ovens, food processors, knives, slippery floors, and possibly extreme heat
  • Constant interaction with employees and guests


Minimum of 6 months restaurant supervision experience.


  • Certified to meet state safety and sanitation requirements
  • Ability to read company materials (i.e. Training materials, charts, recipes etc.)
  • Complete Badlands training program and pass position quizzes for all positions he/she will supervise
  • Certified to train all functions of each hourly position he/she will supervise
  • Proven customer skills – demonstrate an outgoing and genuine personality
  • Complete position checklists of all positions he/she will supervise
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Montgomery County Alcohol Awareness Training


  • Bend, stoop, and reach to stock shelves, serve customers and clean store
  • Stand and walk on hard floors for 8 hours per day
  • Quickly identify safety placards (i.e. wet floor sign) and hazardous situations to avoid or minimize injuries and property damage
  • Identify food quality through taste, texture, color and odor
  • Use small tools and equipment that require good manual dexterity
